The drive

The new motorway through the Moračica bridge and a chain of tunnels replaces the old canyon road. 75 km, about an hour in good conditions.

From November to April the car carries winter tyres as required by law, and snow chains are in the boot. Skis and boards, however, do not fit in a saloon boot — say what you are carrying when booking so it is settled in advance, not at the kerb.
